A rendering of my radiant, rapacious relative
Love this. Who got her pearls?
Ha! Good question. Some may have reached my grandmother, but if any got to my mother, she would have given them away or made them part of a dead bird art display. One spoon with the word “Puss” on it survived. I think my cousin has it.
I am picturing your mom, right beside me as we treasure-hunt at the Haight St. Goodwill
What a great tale. Thanks for sharing this.
Fascinating story! How lucky you got the painting!
I totally enjoyed this, Peter. Thanks!
Glad you liked it, Terry. Thank you. I'm still trying to work out a time when we can visit you in beautiful Washington.
The welcome mat will always be out. I’m glad you’ve found a way to channel your passion for writing. I look forward to more.
